Heading to Salado, Texas, today for a photography weekend workshop. My cameras are as excited as I am!

What a peaceful pretty place to visit. I never knew there were so many different types of cactus. Cactuses? Cacti?

Sometimes it helps to look at things from a different perspective.

A very brief excursion led to this dark photo from a local park. I think it feels a little eerie…I like it.

Experimenting with night time lighting and long exposures, I used a luminary candle with a 4 second exposure to light this plant on my patio.
